My Dad Passed away today. No words can say how I feel right now. Will post some fun pictures to remember him by soon.

Got it…fun fun fun…mindless fun. Gotta release after being stuck on the freeway for hours due to traffic accidents.

My Blog crashed hard the last two days. Some plugins were eating up memory and it was locking the site up. Hopefully I have removed the offending plugins.

Well here we go. I was riding the train to work and kept seeing the ad’s for THOR coming out soon. I saw the Hammer and said WTF, that looks simple to make or at least I thought it was simple. I decided to fire up Lightwave and try to make it. These are some basic versions but it was pretty simple for me. If I had spent another hour I am sure I would have gotten a better representation but what the heck. It was fun.

I was messing around with some of the options in Lightwave and ended up making this Fountain type of thingy…  Click on the image once and then again to see it large screen.

I haven’t been playing this game much as late but this last trailer makes me want to again. They are getting within one patch of getting our characters to walk around like in the movie you are about to see. We have been able to make our characters so as soon as the next big patch comes you will see all sorts of fun stuff in the game. The ground combat is an addon for console games which will allow people playing xbox and playstation to interlink with us playing eve on our PC’s. Bold vision. Here is the link.

I am pretty brain dead with the medication I am on for my allergic outbreak that the docs don’t know what it is… but I did fire up Lightwave and try some things out. I continued on with my Viper 3d Model instruction. Here are the Screenies..

Here are the Updates. I am trying an old tutorial in my new program. Lets see if it still works. So far so good. Only took me 40 minutes to get this far after listening to some instructional video and doing it myself.  Small images that you can see transformations.

Ok.. I have been telling you that I will be starting up Lightwave again and I am. Here is just one render from some models I found on the net. This is the Viper from BSG Series. Just a simple render and a snapshot of it in the actual program before the final render. I will be opening up the tutorials tonight and will post another hopefully tonight. Here is a screenshot of a program called zBrush and if I can get the hang of using this, I will be able to create some neat stuff. More along the lines of creatures and people. It can also be used to make some cool effects on objects that I create in Lightwave. I put some extra weight on this model just playing around. I have no clue how to use this yet but I can see the posibilities.

I am currently configuring my Windows 7 Machine with the software and tutorials that I want for doing Lightwave. Should have some new stuff up soon.

I fired up Lightwave tonight….after I had my eyes dilated at the Doctors office. Sooo….what do I start on with eyes that can’t stand light….. Lighting environments and understanding where lights need to be placed in a scene and colors for them. I finally gave up and here is a couple screen shots of a monster with Key, Fill, Rim and Bounce lighting. It is a simple render but I have to get this down so I can properly light my projects in the future. So without further delay…..

I’m off to the couch now to cover my eyes and let them return to normal before I sit in front of a computer again.

I have made some changes to my past behavior and am focusing on becoming the Spacemanbob everyone knew. Not the Spacemanbob of recent times.

The transformation started this last Sunday.  I upgraded my laptop to Windows 7, which made it a lot faster and the battery now lasts longer.  I also purchased the newest version of Lightwave so I can get back to modeling. 

I also purchased the one piece of equipment I have been longing for on my Telescope.  A Superwedge.  This will allow me to actually experiment with long duration photos of the Cosmos.  I have been wanting this part ever since I bought the scope. Now it is here. 

I apologize to all my friends that have put up with me not being around. I saw a critical flaw in me where I was not doing the things that made me who I am. So thus I am introducing them back into my life.

Woke up and got ready to drive this morning when I saw this image from one of the Webcams from KTLA. Nice shot. Love waking up to images like this.

My Galaxy S phone from AT&T is now free from the clutches of the evil empire.
I Jailbroke the device and allowed it to install 3rd party apps from stores other than the limited supply I was restricted to. I also got the MobleAP option working so I can now use it as a mobile hot spot for wireless devices when I am now around accessible internet with my laptops or ipad. 

Sometimes I like being a nerd and doingbstuff like this. Especially when it allows me to work when and where I want to without being charged outrageous fees from the telephone company. 

Took all of two hours once I found the resources I needed.

I got a bad bout of food poisoning yesterday. Threw Up and all that good stuff that goes with it, where your body wants to throw out everything that doesn’t belong inside of the human condition. I am feeling a little bit better today but I am all sensitive and my stomach still doesn’t want anything in it.

What a way to finish off January. POOT!!!!!!!!!!!

My Plasma ball is now active through my USB port on my computer. Hopefully it will detect green gas from the cube to the right of me and neutralize it before I pass out from the smell.
